杨立波，南开大学教授，博士生导师，南开大学组合数学中心副主任，国家级高层次人才。主要从事计数组合学和代数组合学方面的研究，已在《Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《Intern. Math. Res. Notices》、《J. Combinatorial Theory Series, A》、《Adv. Appl. Math.》、《SIAM Discrete Math.》等重要数学期刊发表学术论文40余篇。主持完成多项国家自然科学基金项目，其中包括优秀青年科学基金项目和杰出青年科学基金项目。

内容摘要：

Integer partitions are combinatorial objects that are naturally associated with symmetric functions. There are various partial orders defined on the set of integer partitions, and among these the dominance order plays a very important role in the theory of symmetric functions. In this talk we review some results and problems related to the dominance order, which involve nice property of posets and graphs, Schur positivity of symmetric functions, and the SNP property of symmetric polynomials.
