On 6 November, the School of Foreign Languages will arrange an English lecture given by Angela Glotfelty working in the English Department. The lecture mainly relates to English language learning, western culture and society. It will be given to all the students, and mainly to English majors. The lecture will provide students a platform to learn about western culture and society, enhance students’ sensibility of cultural differences, and improve their communicative competence in English.
